Case Report 11 - Female with Progression Age 6 to 17

Age of onset: 5 or 6 years old
Initial symptoms: reduction in eyebrow, atrophy of left cheek with hollowing out of temple, reduction in tissue of left side of nose
Progressive symptoms: similar of initial symptoms with continued reduction in left cheek, a dark mark appeared on neck like a birth mark but with an undefined shape, roots missing to 3 teeth on left side thus those 3 teeth are smaller than others. A light fold on left part of down lip. Headaches during midteen years. Lower jaw isn't straight and is too deep-set on left side causing misaligned bite with upper jaw.
Medications/Procedures: ostheopathy for the headache; In December 2008, jaw replaced with orthodentic work. Planned fat injections in cheek and under the muscle of the temple in 2009.
Other significant information: father has arthritis, patient believes that progression stopped at age 17.
